A very tired home with a very busy family made for the perfect opportunity to turn the page on their next exciting chapter; chock full of new upgrades and updates.

It’s not everyday one has the opportunity to design a Kitchen for a culinary virtuoso. This client’s passion to cook and subsequent time spent entertaining meant the new Kitchen needed to be highly functional. This upper Mission area home’s original Kitchen was dark and awkwardly laid out - leaving the family feeling weighed down and wasn’t inspiring to cook in.

The Owner’s goal was to create a to create a warm and genuine Mexican dining experience; immersing guests amidst an atmospheric space. We paired raw lime walls with intensely saturated, exciting colours all designed around the vibrancy of the gorgeous, authentic Mexican Floor Tiles.

One word - Spa. That was the homeowners request. These busy professionals work long hours, rotating from days to nights and back again. They were in need of a calm and relaxing space to come home to and recharge.

One of our main design goals with this new construction project was to create a comfortable family home with timeless lines that would allow for optimal flow & function for everyday living. Built as a spec home in the highly desirable Lakeview Heights neighbourhood of West Kelowna, the design needed to be broadly appealing to potential purchasers.

Transformations - Having the honour of designing a transformation is humbling. Seeing that transformation take place is remarkable.

This West Kelowna lakefront home was already impressive, but with the original use of such vast amounts of dark wood- the client was left feeling weighed down and dreaming of a lighter look.

Given the pace of life this family maintains, we were asked to create a space that provides a sense of calm—a peaceful place to retreat home to.

A truly lovely couple recently purchased a ground level rancher and sought our help to transform it from antiquated to updated - ultimately a space that would better reflected their fun and energetic personalities.

Everyone enjoys a good before and after - this project holds a special place for the most unusual original tile we’ve ever had the pleasure of rescuing a Bathroom from.

We were asked to assist our clients with big picture planning their newest investment property. Upon initial walk through of the home, it was immediately event were the many previous ‘bandaid’ type updates the home had gone through over the years.

It was so meaningful to be part of the design planning for this new construction mountain home; which marked a huge lifestyle shift for our clients. Looking to get away from big city life, meant purchasing land far removed in the BC Interior to build the home of their dreams.
