Rael is known for her ability to create spaces that honour the individuality of each client while staying true to her love of mixing classic and contemporary design.  

Her authentic and approachable demeanour puts clients at ease, encouraging collaboration to bring out the essence of who they are  -  and how they live.   She has a special ability to interpret and refine a client’s vision - expertly bringing their dreams into reality.    

Rael perceives each project’s unique potential, and her passion to find and elevate those opportunities is tangible.  Not one to get caught up in ever changing fads, rather she focuses on thoughtful, timeless design - constantly endeavouring to uncover the indescribable notion of how clients want their space to feel.  

Through her fifteen years in the industry, Rael has had the opportunity to explore the balance between practical function and sophisticated style - the synergy created when these two flow seamlessly together inspires her. 

In 2009 she established the formerly named Raelistic Artistic, and spent those years honing her skills and assisting clients through numerous projects.  Experience has taught Rael the questions to ask, the principles to employ, the possibilities and the pitfalls… all of which serve to guide clients towards feeling confident, and at ease as their projects move forward.   

With such diversity in scope, 2019 brought a refresh to the brand-reborn as birdRock Project Studio Inc. as well as a new chapter for Rael and her husband with the birth of their daughter. Motherhood has deepened Rael’s appreciation that a well-designed space is measured by the quality of life created for those who call it HOME.
