Welcome!  I’m Rael Hay - Director and Designer ofbirdRock Project Studio Inc. a boutique Interior Design firm based in thebeautiful West Kelowna area of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.

Excitedto announce the next chapter for Raelistic Artistic - in celebrating thetransformation +  rebrand to birdRock Project Studio's new name +  website.

A New Chapter

Like all great transformations, the foundation remains while the rest isimproved upon.  

With many life changes overthe past several years - having gotten married, and becoming a Mother to ourbeautiful daughter - naturally I’ve grown and so has my company.   Professionally I’ve been taking on larger andmore complex projects and with that growth became time for Raelistic Artisticto go through it’s own renovation and transformation to reflect those changesas well.  

I’ll always carry the values Ifounded Raelistic Artistic on - my favorite being “No detail left un-detailed”- bringing forward those years of expertise in Interior Design, RenovationPlanning, In-Home Colour + Design Consults, as well as Exterior Design.  I hope you enjoy the new look - I designedthe branding from the heart with a wink to how this new name came about…

Story behind the name

With all names there’s apersonal connection, and this couldn’t be more true for birdRock.  

My Husband and I have longsparked a dry humour back and forth.  One day while deep in discussion about his reaction of generaldisinterest towards my latest plan to renovate our own renovation -  I explained how sometimes these “discussions”make me feel as though I’m a little bird, flitting through the air - lookingaround, inspired with wonderful ideas and excitedly calling out these insightsout to him.

However when I was met withhis lack of interest and visual exasperation to my idea of adding a 2ndskylight through the recently finished Ceiling… I felt this was best describedas though he were like a Rock, tied around my ankle - just weighing me down.

As usual, my Husband didn’tskip letting me know - when the little bird gets tired of flying around withall the ideas  - he would be the Rock Icould safely land on.
